COVID-19 Guidelines * Updated March 2022
The wearing of face masks is optional. Each person or family can decide for themselves. Our decisions regarding this matter take into account the context of our local church, which includes the following: 1) the conversations the elders have had with our church family (including our congregation's COVID-19 survey responses); and 2) that COVID-19 vaccinations have been made widely available for those who desire to be vaccinated.
Here is some additional information that you might find helpful, if you are interested in our church or in joining us on a Sunday: 1) We continue to live-stream our worship services on Facebook, which allows for those who are high risk or more vulnerable regarding COVID to join us through the live-stream; 2) Our current attendance is about 25% of our occupancy, which provides room for social distancing if desired; 3) We use individually wrapped celebration cups for the Lord's Supper (usually celebrated on the first Sunday/month); 4) Children's ministries are offered during the sermon (Bible class for grade school age kids and child care for nursery thru preschool); 5) We ask that you not attend if you have a fever, are feeling sick, are having COVID-19 like symptoms, or are at risk of exposing others to COVID-19; and 6) Our weekly prayer group and our small group meets through Zoom, which provides more fellowship opportunities for those who are high risk or more vulnerable and prefer not to join through in-person participation. Thanks be to God for the opportunities we have to worship and fellowship together.
